The momentous day of 22 July, 2023 dawned heralding the day of the investiture ceremony at Greenfield International School, Dharapuram.
The school held the ceremony with great enthusiasm. It was the occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school.
To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of being an important and integral part of the administrative body, it was decided to form a School Parliament, this year, headed by the Chief Minister and the Cabinet of Ministers.
After an election conducted by secret ballot, GFIS declared Ms. Arshya as the Chief minister for the year 2023 and her Cabinet of 7 Minsters and their Deputies along with her were sworn in on this day with the oath being administered by the Principal of the school ,Ms. Priya Baskaran.
The Captains and the Vice Captains of the four houses, Aqua, Ignis, Terra and Ventus were also an integral part of this ceremony.
It was a week well spent with the children learning a lot more about trees and the importance of a
Tree festival.
