About Us — Greenfield International School

Greenfield International School, Dharapuram, is a premier institution that has been transforming lives since 2012. Nestled amidst lush greenery on the Dharapuram-to-Coimbatore highway, this CBSE-affiliated school was established with the noble intention of providing quality education to the residents of nearby villages, where 80% of the population are farmers.

At Greenfield International School, we pride ourselves on offering an environment that is conducive to the holistic development of students, which includes character building and the imparting of values. Our sprawling 4.65-acre campus is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and plenty of play area that caters to every need of our students.

Our school has consistently produced 100% results in the CBSE board exams, a testament to our unwavering commitment to ensuring that our students are prepared to face any challenge that comes their way.

We have grown exponentially since our inception — from a modest 100 students to a community of over 600 students, spanning KG to Grade 12.

Our History

The Greenfield International School was founded by our Chairman, Mr. M. Sadayappan, a Non-Resident Indian, and his wife, Ms. Prabha Sadayappan, in 2012. In order to give back to the society that had supported him, he decided to start a CBSE school with an international flavour in his native place, Dharapuram, so that many more children could be mentored and nurtured.

With an inspiring motto — 'Strive to excel with integrity' — the school has grown from strength to strength under the guidance of our Chairman and a team of professional educators. The school began with just 100 students and secured CBSE affiliation in 2015. The first batch of 10th Graders graduated in 2018 and the first batch of 12th Graders in 2022.

In the next three years, GFIS aims to grow the school to three times its current size with all 21st-century amenities in place.
