The Greenfield International School was founded by our Chairman, M.Sadayappan, a Non-Resident Indian and his wife, Ms.Prabha Sadayappan in the year 2012. In order to give back to the society what he had gained through his hard work and diligence, he decided to start a CBSE school with an International flavour, in his native place, Dharapuram, so that many more children could be mentored and nurtured to dream of reaching out to the skies, just like him.
With an inspiring motto such as ‘Strive to excel with integrity’, the school has grown from strength to strength since its inception, under the guidance of our Chairman and a team of professional educators, equally passionate about the cause of education , providing holistic education at an affordable cost.
The school began with just 100 students and secured its affiliation to CBSE in the year 2015. The first batch of 10th Graders from GFIS graduated in 2018 and the first batch of 12th Graders 2022.
In the next three years, GFIS wants to grow the school to three times its size with all the 21st century amenities in place at the school.
