Greenfield International School, Dharapuram, celebrated Krishna Jayanthi with great enthusiasm and fervor on August 24. The entire school participated in the festivities, with kindergarten children reenacting pivotal scenes from Lord Krishna's life, featuring key figures like his parents, evil uncle Kamsa, and best friend Sudama.

A storytelling session was organized for students from Grades 1 to 5, covering significant events in Krishna's life, from his birth to his role in the Mahabharata war. The cultural program included a Bhajan, dance performance, and a special assembly dedicated to the significance of the Bhagavad Gita.

Additionally, bulletin boards were decorated in the classrooms, and students participated in pot painting and drawing competitions. Other activities included crown and flute making, allowing students to engage creatively with the theme.

The celebrations were a resounding success, filling the school with joy, music, and spiritual fervour.
