On June 14,Ms Lakshmi Prabha Senthil, a certified Career Counsellor was invited to address the senior children and make them aware of what kind of career options are available for those who pass out of school. Ms.Lakshmi's aim was to make it clear to the children that careful planning is essential and that one cannot choose a career based on what others say.
One should choose on the basis of what each feels he/she is capable of doing or wants to do.The children were made to do an activity which told them about the various opening available in the main industries other than that of a doctor or an engineer.
It was a very fruitful session and each of the senior children came out of the workshop, nursing some idea of what he/she wanted to do in future.
