On the 24th of October, the auspicious day of Vijayadasami, the premises of Greenfield International School wore a festive look since we were going to admit several new entrants into pre kg. All the little ones came dressed up in their finery along with their parents who were equally excited. The children were taken through an initiation ceremony wherein they were made to recite a shloka on saraswati, followed by Akshraabhyasa wherein they wrote the letter 'aa ' on rice after which they were fed honey and banana.
They next went into their classroom and did some interesting activity.They went home with a nice little gift bag filled with interesting stuff.
