As part of the Swachh Bharat Movement, the directive received from the Central Government was for schools to run a campaign on 'Swachata Hi Seva' on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations.Senior School children rallied themselves into small groups and attacked the huge sprawling grounds of Greenfield International School which are lined with an avenue of trees.
They set about cleaning the premises ,picked the garbage littered around, raked the dry leaves and collected them in a sack for composting and swept the whole place clean.At the end of the day it was good work and the volunteers had beautiful smiles plastered on their faces-the smiles of contentment and achievement.
