On August 16, top officials from the RTO, Dharapuram visited GFIS to talk to children about the importance of Road safety. Students from Grades 6, 7 and 8 attended the session.
It was an eye opener for many of us who attended the talk. There were so many minor details we were made aware of which we would normally miss leading to disasters. There was also a quiz conducted by them and prizes were awarded to students who answered well.
Small handbooks on safety rules were handed over to teachers and students for them to be aware of the safety rules to be followed.
